Reading Half Marathon Training - Week 1

This is the last few runs I did with my mind set to do at least 3 runs a week.

Not strictly strict training yet, just getting back into a 5k comfy zone. More miles stones to be set but only after 2 weeks of this stuff.

Let's not forget the cause and the fund raising:

Please go DONATE and make me LOOK BETTER!

So so far I enjoyed every mile of running, the cold weather is not deterring me at all but I am very careful to not get sick, after all the more you run the more your immune system is boosted so it should be one helping the other.

The other trick is to keep my nose clean, literally, as I don't want to kick off my sinuses again. Air circulating through the nose does the trick!

My main problem is that the battery is not lasting for more than 45 minutes on my mobile phone where I track the run with it's GPS and smart runner...
I think I should have ask a Garmin watch from sanity clause, but it's OK, I can buy one when I start a proper training regime.

Also today we had heavy snow, so where the heck does one go for a run? Hope it melts away by Monday.

Anyway, here is the progress of this week, count an octopush session on Thursday evening and I consider this to be a well trained one...

A mild run around Palmer Park:

A nice long run around the university area:

A short fast passed run in the well lit part of the uni, to see where we run so no ice trip us:

Finally, here is my total run hours and mileage since March 2010.
262 km for 25 h 40 min
Yup, I could've done better than that. I need to do better than that!
