3 weeks to go, not too much time to put some Ks on the clock...
The plan this week is, Run Tuesday Thursday and Saturday, with the option of moving Thursday to Friday and Saturday on Sunday.
So today it was a short run, just to get the blood going. It was quite rainy and I don't feel I got warm at all.
Heart rate was a good under 155 average.
Also another aim is to loose 2-3 kg at least, loose 10 and I fall on my ideal weight but 2-3 gone it'll make a big difference...
Anyway, this is the run that was

Rainy Run
Well sometimes it's raining, it is England you know!
This was a good run, a relaxed paced and comfortable one, only problem was the cars splashing Reading road wash on me... My shoes were soaked by the end of it.
Maybe it was the time of the day I managed to get out there that helped. After a nasty evening and a busy morning, plus the worry bit, who knows what effect these things have...
Anyway here's the run:
Please don't forget the charity i run for, all donations are welcome!

Another Week Another Run
After the blues about not running last week, as much as I wanted and should, I managed to get out of the office early enough and go for an evening run.
The plan was to keep my heart rate on a lower beat than previous runs. I found out that a 175bpm avg heart rate is not that healthy... This time it was 169bmp avg! Progress!
Here take a look at the metrics of my last run.
Finally a big thank you to my mother in law, she is the leader on donations!

A week without trainning
The last few days were pretty much hectic and the one thing that suffered, from the tight schedule between commuting and working, is training.
Maybe this is a good thing, I got some revelations on what I should be careful of especially with the heart rate readings.
I aim to be home early and out for a run tonight.
If Lucky!

Running and Listening to Music
With the modern technology and the advent of the Cassette Tape Personal Stereo Player one can now download music on MP3 and convert it to analogue audio recording stored on a magnetic tape. I personally prefer the TDK Metal 80 minute tapes.
But those of you not capable of doing that, should be ok to use an MP3 player too.
One of the best ways to start running and get the music going too is the Podrunner Intervals to the C25K program.

Have a look at his site, there's much more and all with the BPM number that should suite your pace. Most tracks are about 60 minutes long so you might need to turn the tape half way around, unless you are lucky enough to have an auto turn function on your Walkman. Again, those with MP3 players sadly will have to listen to the whole track uninterrupted.
That's it. A Blog entry as a homage to Steve Boy who salutes me every time I run with my headphones on...

Almost a month to go now
First of all,
THANK YOU ANDREA GLEN & SARAH FOR THE DONATION!
Very Generous niece, bro & sis-in-law you!
Now for what goes one beneath my feet.
Last evening run proved to me one thing, keep on training.
This is what me and me mates did and i think it hurt me more than it hurt them!
This needs to be more often and more regular.
I got a new gadget now, the Garmin Forerunner 305, which I didn't have the time to learn and read the manual so I just pressed a button and hoped for the best, it looks like it worked.
Had a bit of a bad week for training at the start of February due to illness and general fatigue, run out of excuses now!
Charity wise, £110 quid.
KEEP THEM COMING, TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS!
